Colan’s First Dog Coat
Colan created its first working dog coat over 35 years ago at the request of the founder of Dogs for the Disabled (Now Dogs For Good) Frances Hay. After visiting our factory, we were tasked with creating a coat that would give the appearance of working dogs. Since that initial request, we have continued to produce working dog coats for several prominent dog related charities.

How quickly can you ship my order?
Stock products should be delivered between 7 – 10 working days. Personalised dog coats and other custom-printed products require longer manufacturing times and are typically dispatched between 14 – 28 working days.
Can I add my own logo?
Yes! You do not have to be a registered charity or organisation to qualify for custom printing. An image of your logo or chosen message will be requested when you place your order.
When will I receive my VAT receipt?
Once the sale is complete, a VAT receipt will be emailed to you. If you wish your documentation to be addressed to your company, please ensure you fill in the payment information correctly.
Can I wash reflective products?
Items made from polyester or polycotton can be washed at 40 degrees. We suggest using non-biological powder for custom-printed products. PU-coated polyester and PVC-backed nylon items are sponge/wipe clean only.
How do I send an image to custom print?
Upon order we will request your artwork/logo. This must be of vector quality or an additional charge will apply. Please ensure you have selected the correct size products as this cannot be modified once printed.
