Working Dogs

For years Colan has been at the forefront of supplying visible and effective working dog wear and accessories. Designed to keep the dog visible, safe and identifiable, our range of durable products are currently used by guide dogs for the blind, dogs for the disabled, pat dogs and more.

Our Working Dog Coat was first created over 20 years ago after Francis Hay, the founder of the Dogs for the Disabled charity was dragged into our factory by her two dogs and asked: “What can you make me that can make these dogs look like working dogs?” It was then our Working Dog Coat was born.

These bright highly visible coats are made from solid mesh material, which is light, breathable and therefore comfortable for the dog to wear. We also offer a polycotton version.

Our useful related dog accessories include lead sleeves, harness signs and harness sleeves.
