Reflective Slappits/Slap Wraps (Slapbands, Slappers, Snapbands, Wristbands)

Increasingly popular at all kinds of Events, Promotions and more importantly an excellent road safety aid for children and adults alike as they come in three sizes.

For those not in the know already, ‘slappits’ are flat strips of reflective and highly visible material that when ‘slapped’ lightly onto the wrist automatically wrap around it to form an easily identifiable wristband.

This product can also be used on school bags, bike frames, around the ankle and so on. When removed they flatten out, ready to be used again and again.

Reflexite were the first company to manufacture this product, rigourously tested, it is CE Marked and conforms to EN13356. Each of our Slappits are marked on the back with information and standards. Please be aware of cheap imitations, some of which hardly reflect.

Slappits are available in a wide range of high visibility fluorescent and non-fluorescent colours, and can be printed for almost any purpose in either single or dual-colours. For printing purposes however, we do have a minimum order quantity of 100.

BEWARE CHEAP IMITATIONS!
It has come to our attention that there has been an influx of inferior, dangerous, low performing slappits entering the marketplace. These inferior products, some of which do not even reflect or have poor reflectability and therefore do not conform to the standard EN13356 are extremely dangerous for a number of reasons, not just the lack of visibility. Some of these inferior slappits are dangerous as the make-up of them in some instances means that the backing sheets come away exposing the metal inside which could cut or hurt the wearer and make the performance of them redundant.

The best way to tell if slappits are of the standard required that will keep children and adults safe and seen is to look at the back of the slappits, where usually, as in the case of Colan's high performing slappits, you will see the relevant standards printed on the back. The other way is to deal only with a reputable supplier which uses Reflexite's, extremely high, durable performance slappits as supplied by Colan. Remember you have a duty of care to provide children or adults with slappits that perform properly in order that the wearer can be safe and seen, in this way you can save lives and prevent injuries caused by the inferior products.
